Kettering Special Interest Groups (SIGs) represent the varied interests of our membership.  Feel free to attend, participate and contribute to one or more SIGs that align with your interests and expertise.  The SIGs are listed below and SIG Leaders are shown at the bottom of the page.

Business Lab...

The objective is to help fellow Kettering members enhance, advance and grow their business whether they own their own company or work for a corporation. Feedback is given to ideas and issues presented during an open forum.

Meeting Specifics:

  • Frequency: Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month
  • Location: 1050 Crown Point Parkway, Dunwoody, GA 30228 Conference Room Ground Floor
  • Time: 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM


Finance

Education and networking of finance, banking, and investments for all Kettering Members

Meeting Specifics:

  • Frequency: 3rd Tuesday of each month
  • Location: UHY Advisors, 6 Concourse Parkway Suite 1700 Atlanta GA 30328
  • Time: 6 PM to 7:30 PM


Freelance...

The Freelance SIG exists to help Kettering members operating as "Freelancers" to be successful; to  help Kettering “In-transition” members to understand and evaluate what it takes to freelance; help all Kettering members and sponsors to find needed freelance help.

Meeting Specifics:

  • Frequency: 3rd Wednesday of each month.
  • Location: UHY Advisors, 6 Concourse Parkway Suite 1700 Atlanta GA 30328 
  • Time: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM



Information Technology...

The purpose of the IT SIG is to facilitate discussion, information sharing and learning among Kettering members who have careers in which they are responsible for managing information technology for a company, developing technology products, delivering technology services, using technology to improve their business processes, or have interest to stay current with IT developments.

Meeting Specifics:

  • Frequency: 4th Tuesday of each month (excluding December)
  • Location: 7000 Central Parkway, Atlanta GA 30328 (Large Conference Room on lobby level)
  • Time: 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM


International...

The objective of the International SIG is: This SIG is a forum for people with international experience (or interest) to share ideas and find resources to discuss challenges one may experience in working or getting involved cross-border.

Meeting Specifics:

  • Frequency: Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of each month
  • Location: Emidio's Restaurant, 8610 Roswell Rd Suite 950. Sandy Springs,

Kettering At Work...

Established to provide an opportunity for Cobb area Kettering members and candidates who may not be able to attend regular Friday meetings, this is an informal networking meeting to share career updates, request assistance, and help each other.

Meeting Specifics:

  • Frequency: Every Thursday except the 5th Thursday of the month.
  • Location: East Cobb/Roswell: 2nd/4th Thurs, Panera Bread, 4475 Roswell Rd, Marietta 30062

Sales & Marketing...

The Sales & Marketing SIG always brings well known speakers / experts to discuss Best Practices being used by Sales & Marketing executives.

Veterans...

The Vet SIG’s mission is to support our Veterans in any way we can. The SIG has 4 major goals:
  • Assist with Job Placement for Senior Level Veterans
  • Volunteer services to comfort Veterans in need
  • Become a Senior level Advisory Board to organizations so that they can grow their services
  • Provide a library of support resources of veterans

Womens...

Kettering Women hold critical executive roles throughout Atlanta. They genuinely support one another in achieving professional and personal goals. KWA members are positive, caring leaders who consistently pay it forward - within the Kettering Executive Network (KEN) and in the community. Kettering Women Atlanta will provide a forum for members to:
  • Increase their opportunity to network between in-transition and employed women
  • Raise awareness about women’s career management and development issues
  • Discuss career approaches and challenges
  • Celebrate the diversity of women in community-related activities

Meeting Specifics:

  • Frequency: Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month (June & July off)
  • Location: Brio Perimeter
  • Time: 5:30-8:00pm (5:30-6:00pm registration & networking)
